| I cant lend any opinions on the Audi because Ive never even sat in one let alone driven one. I think they look nice though. As for the WRX, they are great cars for the money and like has been said they are incredibly easy to work on. From what I saw when I sold my wifes WRX you can get a nice low mileage '02-'03 for around $12-13.5k The engines are very strong and take well to mods should you later decide you want to ;) I never had any problems with either the WRX or the STi however if you do buy an '02 be sure that the previous owner had the "fuel line fix" done. There was a problem with a fuel line on the '02 (maybe '03 too??) leaking when outside temps are below freezing. It was a tech bulletin but never a recall, go figure. It costs about $400 to get fixed at the dealer since some things need to be removed from the engine to get to it. Anyway, I think they are awesome cars for the money and very reliable. Plus I think they look great if done right, but thats personal opinion I guess. Good luck with the decision.
